The Challenge
The original single-glazed timber sashes had decayed beyond economical repair, leaking heat and rattling in every wind coming off the Tyne valley. The owners wanted the authentic look preserved — slim midrails, deep bottom rails, period horns, while ending the draughts and the annual repainting.
Our Solution
We installed Roseview Ultimate Rose sliding sash windows: the most authentic uPVC sash on the market, with a slim 35mm midrail that is indistinguishable from timber at any distance. Mechanical joints replicate traditional craftsmanship, while modern double glazing and brush seals transform thermal performance.
